Ideas for front cover set up

This is what id like my magazine to be like, I will use these fonts and colours etc and I would use this kind of set up with my barcode, name, articles and extras.

Target audience and ideas for cover photo

My target audience is going to be teenagers to young adults (14 - 30). I think this is a good audience to aim for as the majority of people who buy music magazines are in this age group, and these people are the ones most likely to like the sort of music i'm going to include.

These are some photos similar to what I would like mine to look like. Quite simple make up and hair, and quite a fun pose.

Demographics and social grading

Demographics are the measurable characteristics of media consumers such as age, gender, race, education and income level.

Social class grading table:

It's important that do things that are appropriate to your target audience. For example if it was targeted at grade A you could advertise instruments they could buy where as if it was grade E you would show competitions where they could win the instruments because they wouldn't have the money to buy them.
The group I will aim to create my magazine for will be mainly D. Young adults (students) who may not have jobs so wont be earning much money. This means I will have to keep the language very simple so it can be understood and I will have to include things that will attract to my target audience.
